I first met Ray when I was five years old, watching him work on projects around our family farm, digging chicken barns, and countless other projects for my father. Ray was more than just an expert in his craft; he was a trusted figure whose customers valued him like family, partnering with him time and time again. It’s this legacy that drives me and at Kerkhoff Excavating + Septic, I strive to carry forward Ray’s dedication and expertise. We had Herman do the excavation for our foundation, he installed perimeter drains, and our drainage rock pit. As well as site grading and a septic installation in an awkward, tight location. Herman and my partner Matt worked together on all the projects. Matt would say Herman is hard working, punctual, stayed on budget, that he adapted well to changing plans and very detailed oriented. Herman used new equipment that assisted in very accurate installation. He also has a good sense of visual esthetic during site grading. Thank you Herman!
