When Does a Septic System Need to Be Replaced?
Not every septic problem means the entire system needs replacing. In some cases, repairs can restore proper operation. However, an aging or failed dispersal area, deteriorating components or a system that can no longer adequately serve the property may require partial or complete replacement.
Signs that it may be time to investigate your septic system include:

Septic Field Replacement
In many older systems, the dispersal field is the component experiencing failure. A septic field can gradually lose its ability to accept and disperse wastewater effectively. When that happens, simply pumping the septic tank does not solve the underlying problem.
